SouthWaves Radio was an online community station that ran between 2015 and 2017. Founded by Jamie Dyer, it specialised in producing and broadcasting speech and drama programming. Alongside imported productions from Colonial Radio Theatre, Pulp-Pouri Radio Theatre, Hickory Bench Playhouse and more, we produced a few home grown audio series. This included the Old Time parody An Englishman Out Of State. Before the idea was shelved, there was even talk of an Archers type series based in 1950s Chichester, initially titled The Whiteway. The audio soap idea folded due to a lack of resources.

The station closed in 2017 due to a lack of funding and internal issues. It is hoped that we can one day re-launch in our original guise, inspiring people to take up producing and performing in audio drama, speech programming and more. Despite not being a station, our plan is to produce content for community and hospital radio stations across the world.

In addition to podcasts, we also produce radio shows for licensed community and hospital radio stations.

The Pop Show is a weekly 55 minute program presented by Jamie Dyer. Playing the best in Pop music from the 90s, 00s and today, we present a fun packed show of memories, old and new. Covering a wide range of popular music fads and genres including boyband, dance, rap and cheesy pop; there is sure to be something for everyone! The show comes with it’s own idents within it, but is distributed in 3 parts to allow for station identification, ads etc.

Shows are offered FREE to licensed stations.
